Here’s the good news, Giants fans: If Las Vegas bookmakers aren’t willing to panic this early in the season, you shouldn’t be, either.

Despite their sluggish 6-9 start to the 2017 campaign, the bookmakers at the highly-respected Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas still have the Giants posted at the very reasonable price of 12/1 to win this year’s World Series, despite the fact that three teams—Colorado, Arizona and Los Angeles—currently find themselves ahead of San Francisco in the National League West standings.

The same can be said about Bob Melvin’s Oakland A’s, who remain at a price of 100/1 before this weekend’s four-game home series with the Seattle Mariners. Expectations weren’t all that high for the A’s entering 2017, but at least the bookmakers have kept the team in place at its opening price, unlike the San Diego Padres, who have already been adjusted from 100/1 to a league-worst 500/1.

Risers: Colorado, Los Angeles Angels, Atlanta Braves

Fallers: Toronto, Texas, St. Louis, Kansas City, Pittsburgh
