How to Watch Raiders vs. Browns Online

September 28, 2018 - 8:24 am

Hue Jackson heads back to Oakland to coach against his former team walking with the Conor McGregor strut. After two years of ineptitude, the Browns have a win under their belt, and their rookie franchise QB getting his first start Sunday. Baker Mayfield came in and lit up the Jets defense in the second half as they outscored the Jets 18-3 for a 21-17 comeback win in Cleveland. The Raiders have yet to win this year. This would be a good time to change that for Jon Gruden.

The Browns have got the monkey off their back and they have now inserted their No. 1 pick into the starting lineup. It’s almost as if they are a must-watch team every week with Mayfield at the helm. Tyrod Taylor is probably not going to see the field again with the Browns, barring an injury to the rookie QB. This offense was explosive with Mayfield, and they have a chance to get over .500 against a winless Raiders team.

Expect the Raiders to put a lot of pressure on Mayfield. Starting his first game in the Black Hole won’t be easy and Gruden needs to take advantage. Their defense will probably stack eight guys in the box at times and make sure he doesn’t have much time to get rid of the football. The Raiders need to do all they can to get the monkey off their back now and win a game. Outside of the second half against the Rams, they have been in all three of their games, but have failed to close it out. They need to play better in the second half and Derek Carr has got to avoid making horrible decisions and underthrowing guys.
