The 2018 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, and every year the "show" has gotten bigger and turned into more of a production. In the past, special guests have shown up to "spice up" the show in the later rounds, and this year the San Francisco 49ers are bringing in some out of this world guests to announce draft picks. On day three, they will have Chewbacca, R2D2, and some Stormtroopers along with Ron Howard, the SF Police Activities League, and the 49ers prep flag football team.

NFL Network's Andrew Siciliano gave a little more specifics on when some of the beloved characters will join the fun:

LucasFilm is based in the Bay Area, and the picks will happen at Skywalker Ranch which is located in Marin County.  The newest installment of the Star Wars franchise, "Solo: A Star Wars Story" will be released in May.

As for the Silver and the Black, the Oakland er... Las Vegas? Well, the Raiders are inviting youth and high school football players from Las Vegas to announce picks on Day 3. Those selections will be made from Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas.

Another one to watch, the Tampa Bay Bucaneers, who are channeling their inner pirates and will have A PARROT deliver the team's selection to the pick announcer at the pirate ship in Raymond James Stadium.  I really hope they give him a cracker.
