Suffice it to say that Cauley-Stein, who reportedly signed for the bargain price of two years and $4.4 million, isn’t worried about the money.

“I got put in a situation way more special than any amount of money I could have received,” Cauley-Stein said on 95.7 The Game. “Taking that pay cut to join this team and learn from, arguably, the greatest team in this era (laughs), is crazy.”

“Like, I’m excited. I’m excited to come to work. I’m excited to start working out with the guys and the coaches. So, it’s all excitement on this side. Like, just the fresh start. Everything like that is — I’m just excited.”

Cauley-Stein, who played his college ball at the powerhouse that is Kentucky, is thrilled to once again land in a championship atmosphere.

“I feel it. You know what I’m saying?” Cauley-Stein said. “Just being in the Bay, driving across the bridge right now, like, I feel the culture. I feel the excitement. Every fan that I talk to, they’re so excited. That love is so mutual that I’ll run through a wall for that love. You know what I’m saying?”
