McKenzie says it was 'easy' to reach a deal with the quarterback

In the wake of Derek Carr inking a five-year, $125 million deal with the Oakland Raiders, the quarterback and general manager Reggie McKenzie took the stage at the club's Alameda headquarters on Friday morningto discuss the new record-setting contract.

“We both wanted the same thing. That part was easy,” McKenzie explained. “We could tell that Derek wanted to be here. We let him know, without a doubt, we wanted him here. It was easy. It was easy.”
