The Giants, suddenly, improbably, one of the hottest clubs in the National League face the unexpected quandary: buy, sell or do nothing at all.

On Thursday afternoon, Bruce Bochy, the future Hall of Famer, joined “The Damon Bruce Show” and discussed that topic.

DAMON: Would you like Farhan (Zaidi) to be a buyer here at the deadline?

BOCHY: (Laughs) Yea, well, you know what? Those aren’t my decisions. But, as you know, I’m in this thing to win. I like where we’re at and these guys have really played their tails off to make some noise here at this point in the season. So, you know, hey, as a manager, I think any manager’s going to say, ‘Yeah, yeah (buy), if there’s anyway we can improve our club.’ But, I’ll tell you this, he’s already done that. And he’s going to do everything he can to help us OR make the right decision for the organization. So, my job is to make this work.
