Mike McGlinchey to miss 4-6 weeks with knee scope

Right tackle got hurt in Monday night win over the Browns

The 49ers are heading into their showdown with the Rams without both of their starting tackles, after head coach Kyle Shanahan announced on Wednesday that Mike McGlinchey is headed for a knee scope with will keep him out for four to six weeks.

The team was already without starting left tackle Joe Staley. Now. Daniel Brunskill will step in for McGlinchey at right tackle. Justin Skule will continue to stand in for Staley. McGlinchey, the second-year lineman, sustained the knee injury in Monday night's 31-3 win over the Browns.

McGlinchey's set back comes just a day after the Niners announced that Kyle Juszczyk, the team's star fullback, is out for four to six weeks with an MCL sprain.
