Schefter: Anotonio Brown works out for Saints, doesn't sign

Antonio Brown, erstwhile Steeler, Raider and Patriot, could be on the verge of finding a new employer, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Saints, who could finish as either the No. 1 or No. 3 seed in the NFC based on how Sunday plays out, won't be calling on Brown for the Week 17 meeting with the Panthers.

Should Brown sign with a team, he's expected to be placed on the Commissioner's Exempt List, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network/NFL.com.

In the wake of the workout, Brown's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, who was with the veteran at the Saints facility, commented on his client's job interview.

"Antonio had a very good visit today and we will continue our discussions with the Saints."

Per Schefter, Brown is among a cadre of wideouts brought in for a workout at the club's HQ. Head coach Sean Payton confirmed that report but didn't offer much else:
