49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo gets another piece for the offense. The 49ers reportedly intend to sign former Vikings running back Jerick McKinnon. The deal is expected to be four years worth $30 million and averaging $7.5 million per year.  ESPN's Adam Schefter had the report first.

McKinnon, 25, stepped up in Minnesota after Dalvin Cook went down with a torn ACL in Week 4.  From Week 5, the back averaged 3.9 yards per rush, gaining 544 yards on 140 carries, all while catching 43 passes for 381 yards. McKinnon was a third round pick out of Georgia Southern in the 2014 NFL draft.

This following the news that Carlos Hyde is expected to sign with the Cleveland Browns on a three year deal worth more than $15 million. The deal will reportedly include $6 million the first year.
