With the 49ers opening their offseason program, players descended on Santa Clara on Monday.

DeForest Buckner, Richard Sherman and Jimmy Garoppolo were just a few of the faces who showed up to the facility.

Star tight end George Kittle also took to Twitter sharing his excitement for Day 1.

One Niner who was missing from the voluntary program was franchise-tagged Robbie Gould.

Gould remains in Chicago with his family while waiting for the multi-year contract with the 49ers. The kicker took to Twitter excited to be a part of his kids carpool karaoke.

The NFL has a deadline of July 15 to finalize a contract for the kicker. If not, Gould would play under a one-year contract that’s tied with being a franchised player.
