Kevin Durant didn’t exactly quell the concern in his first public comments in the wake of his on-court, and in-the-locker-room, verbal dispute with Draymond Green.

Asked if he’d brokered a peace, Durant was concise: “Nah.”

Will that happen soon?

“I’m sure it will. We’ve got a long season ahead.”

Durant wouldn't say if Green had crossed a line with his words.

“I’m going to keep that in house,” Durant said. “That’s what we do here. Obviously, I know you guys got a job to do, but I’m not trying to give nobody no headlines.”

When asked what it was like to have no Draymond in the building, Durant admitted it was “weird.”

“S--- happens in the NBA. And I just try to do my best to move on and be a basketball player. I don’t got nothing else to do but be the best basketball player.”

Ever the unintentional comedian, Klay Thompson offered one of the lines of the night:

Head coach Steve Kerr put it best, ending his press conference in which he once again looked subdued, with a quip.

“Everybody looks tired. Take the rest of the night off.”
