Stephen Curry won’t be on hand for the Team USA minicamp in Las Vegas next week, according to ESPN’s Chris B. Haynes.

Both Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson are expected to be in the fold but there's no word on the status of Draymond Green.

The minicamp at UNLV’s Mendelhal Center, which runs July 25-27, will also be sans LeBron James who bowed out Monday. Curry is skipping out to spend time with his family. The Currys welcomed a baby boy, Canon W. Jack, on July 4. The move makes sense in the big picture for Curry and LeBron who have both made a habit of playing deep into the summer thanks to Finals runs.

Curry and James are both still in consideration to play with Team USA at the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China and the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
