NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport has scooped the reported asking price for Amari Cooper and it’s steep, very steep.

A day after a report from Jay Glazer indicated that Cooper could be part of a fire sale, Rapoport offered the following on “Aftermath Live.”

“The Raiders have had some conversations about potentially trading him," Rapoport said. "My understanding is that they have asked for a first-round pick in exchange for Amari Cooper, which seems incredibly significant. And it might make it difficult if not impossible to trade him."

The fourth-year receiver has been a microcosm of the disappointing Raiders. Cooper has hauled in 280 passes in the first half dozen games, as Jon Gruden’s club has sunk to 1-5. Cooper has a bases slary of $700,000 this season but the figure jumps to $13.9 million in 2019, per Spotrac.
