On the heels of Derek Carr scoring a five-year, $125 million pact with the Oakland Raiders, Greg Papa joined 'Mornings with Joe, Lo & Dibs' on Thursday.

The host of “The Greg Papa Show” and longtime voice of the silver and black hit on an array of topics, including Carr's place in the franchise's pantheon of great quarterbacks.

“Throughout their history, when they have been good, they have had very good to excellent quarterback play,” Papa explained.

Papa counts Daryle Lamonica, Ken Stabler, Jim Plunkett and Rich Gannon among the list of legendary signal-callers. He thinks Carr has the upside to surpass them all.

“The Raiders have not had a quarterback like Rich Gannon – that's why the team went wayward for more than a decade – before they got Derek. And all those great quarterbacks – I could through George Blanda in there as well – Derek Carr has the chance to be the best Raider quarterback of all-time.”
