O.J. Simpson is granted parole by Nevada Board of Parole Commissioners

Simpson will be eligible to get out of prison in October

The Nevada Board of Parole Commissioners granted O.J. Simpson parole on Thursday. Simpson is eligible to be released from prison in October.

Simpson was convicted in 2008 of an armed robbery involving two sports memorabilia dealers in a Las Vegas hotel room. The 70-year-old served the minimum nine years of a 33-year sentence.
