A's announce official 25-man roster for AL Wild-Card Game with Yankees
Oakland to carry 11 pitchers, but just one starter

The Oakland A's have officially unveiled their 25-man roster for the wild-card showdown with the New York Yankees on Wednesday night. The group consists of 14 position players and 11 pitchers — but just one is a starter, Edwin Jackson.

Of the bunch, 11 have postseason experience, but only three — Jed Lowrie, Fernando Rodney and Jonathan Lucroy — have played in the wild-card game. Lowrie has been in the postseason in four of the past six Octobers, and Lucroy is headed back for the third year in a row.
