Over the weekend, Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson announced that he intends to sell the team in the wake of the news of sexual harrassment and workplace misconduct allegations.

Rapper/business mogul Sean Combs, aka "Diddy" tweeted his interest in buying the Panthers. Carolina native Stephen Curry expressed his interest as well, but now another name wants to make this a trio: Colin Kaepernick.

Diddy said that he would sign free agent Kaepernick to his team, but the former Niner wants in on the ownership group instead. Kap sparked the anthem protests around the National Football League focused on racial injustice around the country. The quarterback has not had a job in the league for nine months, and filed a grievance against the league last October for alleged collusion that prevented a team from hiring him.

Diddy would make history by becoming  the first African-American NFL team majority owner.
