Lorenzo Neal defeats Dan Dibley in The Disgrace at Chase

It was both profoundly stupid and hilariously entertaining.

On Wednesday morning, in front of a crowd of dozens at the Warriors Mission Bay digs, Lorenzo Neal outdueled Dan Dibley, 11-5, in the much anticipated Disgrace at Chase. The full showdown is currently archived on the 95.7 The Game IG page.

In the wake of Neal's win, the Warriors are planning to honor the 95.7 The Game host in an on-court ceremony before the club's Thursday night game against the Lakers, according to a source with direct knowledge of the situation.

@lorenzoneal41. @dandibley. An event unlike any other.

The game began in unfortuitous fashion for Dibley who crashed to the court — in dramatic style, his legs sprawling to the sky — after a drive to the rim on the opening possession, hitting his head on the floor. After the game, in a courtside interview, Dibley revealed that he will enter the concussion protocol.

Dibs, sweat dripping off his brow, arms, legs and head, also discusssed a calf injury.

Dibs was chirping throughout the contest, earning one tech from referee Kelenna Azubuike and nearly being assessed a second. He also shouted at legendary play-by-play man Tim Roye.

Dibley made a young fan’s day giving away his Currys, which incidentally, had previously been gifted to him.

Both Dibs and Lo made sure to pay their respects to the fans.

Lo Neal was in his bag, from the jump.

Well, sorta.

That’s a wrap from Chase.
