Bill Romanowski joined Greg Papa and Bonta Hill on 95.7 The Game on Friday afternoon and shared his thoughts on how he sees the Raiders fitting into the landscape of the AFC — and the NFL at large.

“The biggest issue I see going in this year, for the Raiders, I worry the middle linebacker position and I worry about pass rushing,” Romanowski said. “Other than that, I think this will be the best team in the NFL up next to the New England Patriots.

“I just don't know, is Mario Edwards Jr. going to come into camp this year and completely dominate and take pressure off Khalil Mack and Bruce Irvin," Romanowski added. "Bruce Irvin doesn't have the ability, but because Khalil is such a dominante player, he's able to get a bunch of, I would say, garbage sacks."

“So, Mario Edwards needs to take it up. Maybe someone will show up that we don't really know about — some of these new young draft picks. So, we don't know. That's how I see it.”
