Former Giants folk hero Tim Lincecum officially arrived at Texas Rangers’ camp on Tuesday, in the wake of reaching a deal — with a base pay of $1 million.

Apparently the new reliever and his new boss, Ranger general manager Jon Daniels, have already discussed Game 5 of the 2010 World Series, when the right-hander put it on the American League champs.

"He apologized for it," Daniels said, per Tyler Kepner of The New York Times. "It wasn't a very sincere apology."

Lincecum delivered eight innings of one run ball, punching out 10 Rangers in the process, as the Giants secured the first of their three even-year titles.
