Amid the back-and-forth between Donald Trump and LaVar Ball, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has a simple wish: just stop talking.

“Modern life,” Kerr told reporters in Brooklyn before Sunday's game against the Nets. “Two people seeking attention, and they’re both getting it. I’m sure both guys are really happy."

On Friday, Ball had downplayed the role Trump played in extracting his son, LiAngelo, and two other UCLA players from a legal imbroglio in China.

“Who?” LaVar Ball said, per ESPN. “What was he over there for? Don’t tell me nothing. Everybody wants to make it seem like he helped me out.”

Trump responded to that dig via his Twitter account:

Kerr has had enough.

"You know what would help? If all of you just stopped covering both of them. Is that possible? You could probably stop covering LaVar. I don’t know think you can stop covering the President. I don’t think that’ll work, but it would be nice for all of us if both of them would be quiet. That would be great.”
