Steve Kerr joined Damon Bruce for his weekly conversation on Tuesday afternoon and said he definitley expects to see Stephen Curry back on the court during the upcoming road trip. Just don't count on Curry sutiting up for Thursday's showdown with the Raptors.

"He's right now entering the point where we can finally say, 'All right, is it time?'" Kerr said on 95.7 The Game. "That's all based on (director of sports medicine and performance) Rick Celebrini's decision. He's had athletes in the past who have had groin injuries, come back and had no symptoms and had a setback because they just didn't take the full time. It's not enough to just say 'Okay, Steph feels good, we can throw him back out there again.'"

"But with that said, I think we're very close to the time where we can say, 'All right, there's been enough time.' He's pain free, the symptoms are gone and ultimately Rick will make the decision when he's comfortable putting him out there."

"My best guess is Detroit, but we'll see what happens."

The Warriors visit the Pistons on Saturday, for Game 2 of the five-contest swing.

Here's the itenerary:

*Nov. 29: @ Raptors

*Dec. 1: @ Pistons

*Dec. 3: @ Hawks

*Dec. 5: @ Cavaliers

*Dec. 7: @ Bucks

Curry hasn't played since exiting early on Nov. 18 in the 134-111 loss to Milwaukee.
