Echoing statements from owner Joe Lacob and basketball ops czar Bob Myers, Steve Kerr expects to agree to a new deal with the Warriors in rapid order.

Kerr who’s set to enter the final season of his five-year rookie contract, discussed the situation on “The Damon Bruce Show” on Thursday.

“I don’t think it’s going to take long,” Kerr said on 95.7 The Game.

“I want to be here and Joe and Bob made it clear they want me here,” Kerr added. “And I don’t have any desire to go anywhere else and I’m not going to play that card and play it out as a free agent and do all that stuff.”
