KD shouts out Russ for winning the MVP

Durant offers well wishes to ex-teammate

In the wake of Russell Westbrook claiming the 2017 NBA MVP Award, the Oklahoma City Thunder guard received a congrats from a high-profile ex-teammate – Kevin Durant.

“Huge congrats to Russell Westbrook on MVP, that boy went out there and was a created player on 2k all year, [EXPLETIVE] balled out. Gotta respect it!,” Durant wrote on his YouTube channel page.

For what it's worth, KD offered words of respect for an array of award winners/finalists, including current teammate Draymond Green and ex-OKC co-star James Harden.
