The day after the Patriots secured Super Bowl LIII 13-3 over the Rams, Jerry Rice called into “Joe, Lo & Dibs” and shared his thoughts on the big game.

Suffice it to say that Rice did not think game, which was the lowest-scoring Super Bowl in history, was a defensive masterpieces.

“Come on, that was some of the worst football ever, guys,” Rice said with a laugh. “When you’re talking about defense, it was like, I don’t know. It’s just like the teams didn’t come to play.”

“The time that they had. The preparation that they had… you’re going to put something like this on television? 13-3?”

“To be honest with you, I’m always going to support the NFL. I’m always going to support the players, but that was some bad football. And it’s just a shame.”
