Jerry Rice joined “Joe, Lo & Dibs” on Monday, and, unprompted, opened up his call with a little advice for the Warriors.

“Good morning. How are you guys doing?” Rice began on 95.7 The Game. “Look, I just say, let those guys put the gloves on. You know, (Kevin) Durant and (Draymond Green), let them box it out, man. It’s okay.”

Joe Fortenbaugh then proceeded to ask Rice, who’s seen success and adversity on all levels, who this KD-Draymond dispute strikes him and whether it can be resolved:

“Well, when everything is going just right — I think the Warriors — that team, they have been perfect,” Rice replied. “And they’ve got so many great players on that basketball team and you need a little turmoil. You need this to happen with the team.”

“But, I remember old Charles Haley. Charles Haley used to take guys to the park, and if they had something that they needed to… hash or work out, they would handle that at that park.”

“So, I think with Draymond, also Durant, let them put the gloves on. Let them go for a couple rounds or something like that and just resolve it.”
