Jerry Rice stopped by “Mornings W/ Joe, Lo & Dibs” with Joe Fortenbaugh, Lorenzo Neal and Dan Dibley on 95.7 The Game on Wednesday morning. The Hall of Fame reciever made his stance clear on what he thinks should happen with the unemployed Colin Kaepernick.

“There was so much that went on with Colin Kaepernick last year and I don't think we actually got a chance to see the true Colin Kaepernick,” Rice explained.

The Baltimore Ravens were recently linked to Kap, but the team's owner, Steve Bisciotti, appears to be engaged in an extremely thorough vetting process:

“So, I would love for him to get another opportunity somewhere where he can prove himself all over again and get on that football field and show what he's capable of,” Rice added. “But we just have to wait and see and I'm sure he's itching right now to get back on the football field and show everybody that (he) can play football.”
