Three-time Super Bowl champ and Hall of Famer Jerry Rice joined 95.7 The Game on Monday and offered his thoughts on an array of topics from around the NFL.

In particular, Rice explained whether it's fair to expect the Raiders to advance to the AFC Conference championshop game — if not the Super Bowl.

“I think this team can really go a step beyond," Rice told Dan Dibley of 95.7 The Game at the Joe Morgan Celebrity Golf Tournament. "But they've got to have a legitimate backup [at running back]. I think Marshawn Lynch is really going to add a dimension to that running game and he has something to prove because he's really upset with the Seattle Seahawks, so he's going to have a chip on his shoulder.

“So, I'm expecting this team to go a lot farther," Rice added. "But they've got to keep Derek Carr healthy.”
