JaVale McGee’s debut album is dropping on Friday but don’t hold you breath for any Nick Young cameos.

Swaggy P was originally supposed to be on a track but then Swaggy P happened. JaVale McGee stopped by “The Greg Papa Show” with Bonta Hill on Thursday to explain what went down.

“Nick Young is not on the album,” McGee said on 95.7 The Game. “He was supposed to be on the album, but Nick Young is the biggest flake I know. So, he didn’t get any studio time.”

That news came as a surprise since, as Bonta pointed out, McGee and Young had famously discussed setting up a studio session in the locker room after a Warriors win.

“Exactly. Remember when he was like 8 pm? Yeah. He didn’t come. Okay. I called him at six (o’clock), ‘Like, you ready?’ (He’s like), ‘Can’t make it.’ I’m like, ‘Okay.’ So, yeah.”

“Make sure you guys make it known that Nick Young is the biggest flake I know.”
