‘It’s strange’ — Jimmy Garoppolo breaks silence after ACL tear

49ers QB speaks to reporters for 1st time since season-ending injury

Jimmy G, the sidelined quarterback of the 49ers, made a media cameo on Friday afternoon, addressing reporters for the first time since his ACL tear.

On Sunday against Rams, Garoppolo finally able to be in the building to watch his club.

“It’s strange. It’s strange. The first couple I was down in LA, just watching them on the couch,” Garoppolo said. “And this last one, I got to go to the game and watch it.

“And it’s a completely different perspective,” Garoppolo added. “You feel like a coach almost.”

Jimmy also discussed the worst part of his injury: the crutches.
