Draymond Green, the longtime defensive general and offensive facilitator of the Warriors, is taking his role as unofficial draft advisor seriously, very seriously.

Golden State prez/GM Bob Myers joined “The Greg Papa Show” with Bonta Hill on Thursday to discuss just what Green’s been up to while hanging around the facility all week.

“It’s funny. He’s really been in there,” Myers said on 95.7 The Game. “This isn’t like a soundbite. He’s been in the room — more than I can even believe. He was in there five hours yesterday.”

“I almost kind of was like, ‘Should we let this guy in here this much?’ It’s amazing. He kind fits in there. He doesn’t talk the whole time. He listens and then we ask him questions, ‘Draymond, what do you think?’”

Myers says Green, a basketball savant, is the perfect person to have in there.

“You’re talking about a guy on our team, with Andre, the most intelligent as far as how we play, what we do and is able to see what might work. So, why wouldn’t you say, ‘Draymond, this is a guy we kind of like.’

“It would be like being in there with your quarterback…”

Last year, Kevin Durant was in the draft room.

“Kevin is a basketball junkie just like Draymond, but Kevin’s more — he’s in Los Angeles. He’ll call and say, ‘What are we doing? What do we like?' We went back and forth on text. We talked this morning and he wants to talk before the draft.”

“And I told him, I said, ‘Draymond’s in the room. I don’t know what you’re doing.’”
