‘I would urge everybody out there to chip in’ — Kerr implores fans to help those affected by the Camp Fire

Warriors host Paradise basketball players on Thanksgiving eve

Before the Warriors hosted the Thunder on Wednesday night, head coach Steve Kerr had a message regarding another group of players the club was hosting — the Paradise basketball program.

The Warriors invited the players, victims of the Camp Fire, to attend the game at Oracle. It was a simple but powerful gesture. And Kerr had another message:

“Obviously, those people up there need much more than just to be able to come to a basketball game,” Kerr said. “So, I would urge everybody out there to chip in and help anyway they can.”
