Nick Mullens, who stormed onto the national stage with his impressive rout of the Raiders last Thursday night, stopped by “The Damon Bruce Show” on Wednesday.

The one-time Southern Miss star told Damon that Kyle Shanahan has given him no assurances that he’ll remain the starter beyond the upcoming Monday Night Football meeting with the Giants.

That’s no problem for Mulles, who was level-headed as ever when asked when he felt he officially arrive: when he was verified on Twitter or when he heard his name called at Levi’s.

“I’ve always been told you never arrive,” Mullens said on 95.7 The Game. “So, I always like to keep that in my mind. But, running out of the tunnel was cool. You know, that’s the stuff that you go to games and you see, and think, ‘Ah, man. That’d be really cool.’ To be able to do that was very fun.”

This Mullens guy just keeps impressing.
