Draymond Green has been silent this off-season but he he joined Rachel Nichols on ESPN's "The Jump" on Wednesday and the loquacious star was in vintage form.

Listen to your team news NOW.

Green did not hold back.

When asked about his contract extension the, three-time NBA champ offered the following:

"I got two guys that I've been rollin' with since I stepped into this league in Steph and Klay. We started this whole Golden State thing when it wasn't so sexy," Green told Nichols. "Why would I get to this point where we done built this entire organization up and bail on it? You don't bail on your baby. You know, the Golden State Warriors, that's our baby."

Nichols asked Green if he had talked to Kevin Durant this summer and Draymond said absolutely.

"I actually talked to K yesterday. That's my brother."

He also said that he found out about Durant's decision to leave when everybody else found out.

"That's crazy to me," was Draymond's response to people saying they aren't going to make the playoffs.

"There's actually some people that say we won't make the playoffs. I have a hard time believing that."

Finally, Draymond spoke about Golden State being "the underdog" and he likes it.

"It's been awhile since we've been the underdog but it brings that underdog chip back," Green said. "I missed that chip. I'm pretty sure Steph missed that chip and some of the stuff Klay been texting me this summer, I'm positive he misses the chip."
