Greg Papa, co-host of “The Afternoon Delight” with Bonta Hill, and the new voice of the 49ers, said on Tuesday afternoon that the Raiders do not appear likely to play at Oracle Park, home of the Giants, in 2019.

“From what I’m hearing, the Raiders will not be playing at Oracle Park,” Papa said of 95.7 The Game. “That will not be approved.”

Papa begins his comments at the 32:38 mark in the pod below:

On Sunday, Raj Mathai of NBC had reported that the Raiders would be playing in China Basin.

“And they’re going to have to figure out whether they will go to Levi’s (Stadium), try to make a deal with Oakland to go back to the Coliseum or somewhere else,” Papa continued. “San Diego was floated as a possibility. But I think their desire is not to get on an airplane every Friday or Saturday before a home game."

Papa went on to suggest that brokering a peace with Oakland to return to the Coliseum could be the smartest move.

"It's not going to be allowed to play at Oracle Park. So, they don't want to play there (at the Coliseum). They didn't want to play at Levi's. They're not going to be allowed to play at Oracle Park, Bonta. I don't know what they do. So, would they go kicking and screaming to (Levi's)?"

"I think, again, this is — the owner would rather play in another, I know he's playing in a baseball stadium now. But at least that has a configuration where you align the football field where your players are not in harm's way. I don't know how it would have worked at Oracle Park. Would the teams be on the same sideline?"
