So close, yet so far.

Listen to your team news NOW.

With bascially an entirely new team post-trade deadline, the Golden State Warriors fell to the Los Angeles Lakers 125-120.

In his first game as a Warrior, Andrew Wiggins scored 24 points on 8-of-12 shooting (3-of-4 3PT, 5-of-9 FT). He looked like he will fit right in alongside the Splash Brothers.

Marquese Chriss had one his best games as a Golden State Warrior. He lead the team in scoring with 26 points, including multiple alley-oops:

Anthony Davis dropped 27p/4a/10r (yikes), while LeBron James dropped 22p/11a/8r (double yikes). LeBron also hit a shot that felt like deja vu:

Draymond Green, who was ruled out pre-game with back injury, joined the crew at halftime. He thinks if the Warriors are healthy, then "we’re right back where we need to be.”

The Warriors will play next Monday at home against the Heat. Sidenote: Andre Iguodala was traded to the Heat last week.

Tip-off is at 7:30pm, coverage starts at 6:00pm right here on 95.7 The Game.
