The Golden State Warriors have signed forward Dragan Bender to a 10-day contract, as first reported by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The 22-year-old was waived by the Milwaukee Bucks Feb. 10.

He played 13 games for the Bucks G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd, where he averaged 20.5 points, 8.9 rebounds and shot 38 percent from three.

Bender was selected No. 4 overall in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns. Warriors Marquese Chriss was also selected by the Suns that same year No. 8 overall.

Team culture and environment matter and Chriss is a testament to that. It's no secret that Golden State has helped revive Chriss' career after not much success with the Suns, Rockets, and Cavaliers. Maybe they can help Bender, too?

This is most likely a prime example of what the rest of the season will be like for the Warriors: get as many 'auditions' as possible.

Bender is expected to sign his contract on Sunday.
