Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies came in as underdogs, but they left Chase Center victors on Monday night.

The Warriors came back from double-digits multiple times to make it a close game repeatedly, but their 38% shooting on the night was just simply insurmountable. They are now 5-20 on the season.

It was a meeting of the, what many would say, are the top two rookies in the NBA: 2nd pick Ja Morant, and 41st pick Eric Paschall.

On one hand, Paschall had an underwhelming game, scoring just five points on 2-of-10 shooting, grabbing two boards and dishing zero assists. Eric "Paschanimal" will surely look to bounce back next game.

On the other hand, Morant had a stellar night for the Grizzlies. He put on a display with 28 points and seven assists.

Draymond Green filled the stat sheet tonight. He had 16 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 1 steal.

It was the first game back for Jacob Evans III. He hadn't played since he strained his adductor in the third game of the season, back on October 28. He only played 11 minutes a shot one-of-four from the field.

Something to note; Jordan Poole was a DNP - Coaches Decision tonight.

After a long road trip, the Warriors play eight of their next ten games are at home. They will play the Knicks on Wednesday at 7:30pm. Coverage starts at 6:00pm on 95.7 The Game.
