Warriors open Chase Center with 123-101 loss to Lakers

Curry dropped 18 in his San Francisco debut

The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Golden State Warriors, 123-101, in the first game at Chase Center on Saturday night.

The Warriors were down 11-0 until Stephen Curry hit this 20-footer, the first shot made at their new San Francisco arena.

The Splash Brother also scored the first triple at the Mission Bay building:

Defensively, the Warriors struggled. Bigs Kevon Looney, Willie Cauley-Stein and Alen Smailagic were all out due to injury. 

On a positive note, rookie Jordan Poole was impressive in his NBA preseason debut. 

Poole finished with 17 points. In the second quarter, the rookie hit a transition three and the crowd loved it. 

The Warriors are back in action on Thursday at home when they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves. Tip-off is at 7:30pm on 95.7 The Game.
