Report: 7 NBA players, staff members test positive for coronavirus

Members of four organizations are on Thursday's list

7 NBA players, staffers test positive for coronavirus

Seven NBA players and staff members have reportedly tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday. The list includes members of the Nuggets, 76ers, Lakers and Celtics organization.

The cascade of positive results began with the following tweet from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski:

Then came the 76ers news, per Shams Charania of The Athletic:

In the Sixers statement they said players, coaches, and specific basketball operations support staff were tested. It's not yet clear who tested positive.

The Sixers and Warriors played just 12 days ago on March 7. Bob Myers said none of the Warriors have been tested, yet. 

Shams is also reporting that two Lakers tested positive.

The Lakers played the Brooklyn Nets in their final game before the season was suspended. The Nets had four players test positive, including Kevin Durant.
