Joe Lacob, owner and CEO of the Warriors stopped by “The Greg Papa Show” with Bonta Hill for a full hour on Monday afternoon.

The two-time NBA champion addressed an assortment of topics during his hour in the 95.7 studio, beginning with topic No. 1, the health of Stephen Curry’s kee.

Lacob detailed the scene in the locker room after Curry hurt his left knee on Friday night and disputed head coach Steve Kerr’s claim that the two-time MVP is definitely out for the first round of the playoffs.

“I think the general feeling is hopeful that he could be back some time in the first round,” Lacob said. “But Steve says not until the end of the first round. We’ll see who’s right. We don’t know.”

Jump to the 2:23 mark in the podcast below to hear Lacob’s full thoughts on Curry.

Here are the rest of the highlights:

*7:51: Whether Curry will need a summer procedure on his ankle…

*15:22: On the idea the Warriors and Rockets are on a collision course...

“We don’t know what’s going to happen. Houston could get upset, if you’re so worried about Houston.”

“They are the best team right now. There’s no doubt. Right now. They are the best team. And we’re looking up to them. Alright. But that doesn’t mean they’ll be there in the (Western Conference Finals). We might be there and they might not be there. We’ll have to wait and see. You’ve got to prove it on the court.”

*30:06: On if Big 4 will be there when Chase Center opens...

“Well, I hope so. But you don’t know. These guys have earned the right to be free agents at some point in their careers and it’s really up to them where they decide to sign.”

“We can make offers. We can be as aggressive as we want to be and you know we’re aggressive. And we certainly want them to be here. We love all of them. We love our team. It’s fantastic. I just can’t speak for them. They have to make that choice themselves.”

“Klay (Thompson) has, in a year, has his choice, his chance. We’ll try to sign him, maybe even before then to an extension. We’ll certainly talk with Draymond (Green).”

Oh, and Lacob had some fun, putting head coach Steve Kerr on notice...
