The Game to Remain as Flagship Station for University of San Francisco Men’s Basketball Games

PHILADELPHIA, PA – November 6, 2018 – Entercom, the unrivaled leader in sports radio, and the University of San Francisco announced a new broadcast partnership extension. As part of the agreement, 1550-AM The Game (KGMZ-AM) in San Francisco will broadcast all University of San Francisco (USF) men’s basketball games, beginning with the team’s opening game on November 6 at 7:00 p.m. PT. Select games will be simulcast on 95.7 The Game (KGMZ-FM), the flagship home of the Golden State Warriors.

As part of the partnership, Pat Olson, the longtime play-by-play voice of the Dons, and former USF men’s basketball head coach Jim Brovelli will continue to provide commentary of the games. In addition to game broadcasts, 1550-AM The Game will also air the weekly show “The USF Dons Basketball Hour” Tuesdays from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. PT.

Listeners can tune in to The Game (KGMZ-AM/FM) in the Bay Area on air, as well as nationwide on the RADIO.COM app and website. Fans can also connect with the station on social media via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
