David Carr says Derek thinks there’s ‘no chance’ Gruden trades him

Older brother surprised No. 4 wants to stick things out with Raiders

NFL Network's David Carr joined "The Damon Bruce Show" on Thursday to dish all the latest on the turmoil surrounding his brother, Derek, and the Raider organization.

While talking with David, Damon asks him “Do you think maybe a fresh start would be better than riding out this Raider run?”

The older Carr said his brother believes there’s “no chance” of that happening.

“He believes, based on his relationship with Jon… He’s going to be a Raider as long as he wants to be a Raider.”

Given David’s past in the NFL, and the current state of the Oakland Raiders, Derek’s brother suggests he would have a different outlook on the situation if he was in the same position.

“Maybe I would have personally asked for a trade or tried to do something.”
