After watching the Boston Celtics go toe-to-toe with the Golden State Warriors for the second time in as many meetings, NBA fans and aficionados all over the world would love to see these teams go blow-for-blow in June.

It may not happen as some guy named LeBron James is still lacing his kicks up in Cleveland, but the possibility of Kyrie Irving displaying his playground handles against the defending champs has drool dripping out of my mouth profusely.

What a game at Oracle Arena, as the Warriors needed 49 points from Stephen Curry to hold off the Celtics, 109-105.

Again, this game was all about Killa Kyrie and The Chef, Stephen Curry. Irving and Curry didn’t take long to put their imprints on this classic, scoring 14 and 13 points respectively in the opening quarter.

Look at this sauce Irving served Curry in the first:

Irving scored 37 points on a ridiculous 18 shots, showing why Warriors fans get queasy whenever the ball is in his hands. He’s a magician with the rock. Here’s Curry on his duel with Irving:

But Curry had the last laugh as the two-time MVP protected his house and carried the Warriors offense in this one. He was 16-of-24 and sank eight 3-pointers in one of his finest efforts of this season.

The Baby-Faced Assassin reminded the world just how special he is. He’s changed the game of basketball.

When Curry sinks 3’s the way he does, when he starts clowning, Oracle roars differently. No offense to Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson or Draymond Green, this is Curry’s house. He is “that dude.”

That’s all you need to see. Run that play on a loop. Set your DVR to rewatch this epic duel and pray that this is the matchup we get in June.
