Bryce Harper set for MRI on Sunday after hyperextending knee

Nats star injured in 1st inning of win over Giants

After Bryce Harper slipped on first base in the Washington Nationals' 3-1 win over the San Francisco Giants on Saturday night, his manager Dusty Baker offered an update on the right fielder's status.

According to Baker, Harper hyperextended his left, but the team doesn't yet ave much information about the extent of his injury:

“He's going to get an MRI and we'll know more tomorrow," Baker said. "We just ask for prayers that it's not serious."
