Chad Brown, a former three-time Pro Bowler and current analyst for “Broncos Tonight” and “Broncos Huddle” on KUSA, joined Bonta Hill and Daryle “The Guru” Johnson on 95.7 The Game on Wednesday afternoon to break down the AFC West.

While acknowledging that it's still extremely early, Brown pegged the Raiders as the team to beat in the division.

“For now, I think the popular choice of the Raiders, that's got to be my number one choice, as well,” Brown said. “That defense, I think, will take a step forward. Derek Carr will take another step forward.”

The key for Oakland, as Brown explained, will be to lean heavily on the club's bruising offensive line.

“When you go with that bully package, when they had seven offensive linemen on the field against the Denver Broncos, I thought, there's very few teams in the NFL that can adjust and adapt to that and stop that kind of offense,” Brown said. “If the Raiders play that way, I see them as being the clear leader to win that division.”
