Patrick Beverley, who went from the Rockets to the Clippers as part of the Chris Paul blockbuster, joined ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski on the “The Woj Pod” on Thursday.

The veteran guard, who is famous for his toughness talked about his new team, his old club and another one of the junkyard dogs of the NBA — Draymond Green.

“You look at a player like Draymond Green. Nine, 10 years ago, would someone pay him what he's being paid to play on a baseketball team?” Beverley said of the reigning DPOY who inked a five-year, $82-million deal in 2015.

“I don't know. We don't know,” Beverley said. “But now, in today's game, every team in the world wants him. That shows you that you don't have to be the biggest, you don't have to be the tallest, you don't have to be the fastest, you don't have to have the best shot, the best handles to be successful.”
