The A's are headed back to Tokyo.

Major League Baseball and the MLB Players Association announced on Tuesday that A's and Seattle Mariners will open the 2019 Championship Season with a two-game set on March 20-21 at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.

"The Oakland Athletics are proud to once again take part in the Japan Opening Series," A's President Dave Kaval said in a statement.

The A's also went to Tokyo for games in 2008 and 2012.

"We are honored to represent Major League Baseball during this special event," Kaval continued. "Japan has incredible baseball fans and we look forward to returning to Tokyo to help promote our sport."
