The always-entertaining Alex Boone joined “The Greg Papa Show” with Bonta Hill on Monday afternoon and had no shortage of noteworthy takes.

The day after his old club ended a 10-game losing streak to the Seahawks, Boone dished out some high praise for Matt Breida, the 49er running back who has emerged as a pleasant surprise in 2018.

“I love this running back,” Boone told Bonta and Joe Shasky, who was in for Papa.

“He reminds me a lot of Adrian Peterson — just the way he runs so physical and tough. Just looking at him, he looks like a tough running back.”

For what it's worth, Boone and Peterson were teammates with the Vikings in 2016, the lineman's penultimate season in the NFL.

Boone also revealed an intriguing nugget from a recent conversation with Joe Staley, his old friend and former o-line colleague.

“If we had Kyle Shanahan with Jimmy Harbaugh, we would have won that Super Bowl and five more,” Boone said.

Well then.
