Hall of Famer Rick Barry joined Matt Kolsky, Matt Steinmetz and Daryle “The Guru” Johnson on 95.7 The Game on Monday to dissect the state of the Warriors.

Suffice it to say that Barry isn’t stressing over the recent struggles of the club, who at 44-14, sit in second place in the Western Conference.

“I’m not worried about them,” Barry said. “Everybody, these guys there (on TV) talking about what can happen now.”

“It’s freaking February. It just was the All-Star break. Who cares how you’re playing right now. It’s how are you playing in April when you’re getting ready to go into the playoffs. That’s what’s critical.

“Let’s talk about this when we see what the Warriors are doing come April — see how they’re playing, see what their health is. Then you can start to make some kind of evaluation about what teams looks like they might have a better chance than another team, but to do it right now is a waste of time.
